I reviewed my free personal copy of this book for Wicked ReadsIt's a bit cliche but action packed, so I read it till the end. Holly is finishing college with a film degree, she's somehow caught on film two rival bike gangs in a junk yard trading arms. She gets found and Axl decides she's hot enough to vouch for and he puts his life on the line for a woman he just met. Lots of instalove going on, instant attraction with life altering consequences. BUT, Axl is a pretty interestingly written character and I find I want to read a bit more about him. The book really does pack a lot of action into the story line with best friend betrayals and rival clubs, inside jobs and hits. Holly seemed extremely out of character to me once her & Axl end up alone together. She turns very slutty and not at all like the girl we just met. It was very odd, but Axl stayed in character the entire story so I was able to overlook Holly's character lobotomy and concentrate on him. Of course we have the obligatory pregnancy even though the timeline seemed rushed for it and Holly was on the pill, but i can see why the writer did it, only save she had for Axl's suicide mission of revenge. It wraps up well with an HEA and a solid 3 stars.

A better read than expected. Enjoyed the pure alpha Axl,but Holly, had to grow on me. I enjoyed the suspense of the story as it took a few unexpected twists. Didn't necessarily enjoy the instant love connection as presented as it was a bit unbelievable to me. However, overall, this was an entertaining read. I would read another title by this author.
This was an interesting story and to appear realistic, I guess cursing is required. I love romance stories, but I just don’t like unnecessary cursing. I guess “Sons of Chaos” is just not for me. If you don’t mind the harsh language and violence, you might enjoy the story. Axel finds unexpected love and then needs to protect her. This story has love and a lot of action.
Axl saves Holly from being killed during an exchange that she witnesses by accident. Just seeing her once makes him want her, yet he's still getting down and dirty with club whores.
Holly is a good girl, now with problems. She was someplace she shouldn't be.
The ending was very anticlimactic. I was thinking there had to be more than a type of, "and they lived happily ever after", but there wasn't.
This story was one I had anticipated to being a lot more rough and sexy. I loved the story line and I love MC but I felt that the characters were too off putting. Axl was too soft for a biker I believe and his girl was too controlling a bossy. No real biker is going to let a girl make his decisions and that's what I felt she was doing. With that said, the chaos that ensues and the steamy sex sessions gave the story a sexy vibe.
I honestly loved this book so much! Holly was a nice supporting character, but Axl stole the show. Axl not only is funny and hot. With his southern drawl, he's also the toughest. His back story heartbreaking, turning to a life of crime because he belonged. I admire how Axl isn't invincible, he almost died a fair amount of times, but he still went back to his old ways.I'm glad everything worked out in the end. Axl will always be the best character ever.
***Spoiler Alert*** I enjoyed this little book, even though MC romances aren't my preferred sub-genre. The author did a nice job of humanizing the biker hero. Editing is clean. There's less sex in the book than I anticipated, but that's not necessarily bad. I did catch some plot holes and discrepancies in the story, which would merit some revision. The HEA wraps up neatly, although the sudden presence of excess cash when the MC is supposed to be short on funds just doesn't ring true. What I did like was the elevation from the violent MC lifestyle at the end.
I received this for a honest review. The author did a great job. You always read about MCs being a brotherhood, family. By the time you get done reading the book you will see a different view. FYI, there are some hot and steamy parts.
Axl Archer was the VP of the Sons of Chaos. They took him in when he needed someone. They are his family, his brothers. They were out at a junk yard meeting the Rebels when things went down badly, all because of a girl being at the wrong place and wrong time.
Holly is if this feisty girl that is in college. She was working on a documentary for the town she was raised in or a school project. She ends up in a junk yard video taping when she hears discovers some bikers. Hiding does not even save her. She is lucky that Axl believes in the code of not hurting the innocent.
There is something going on and things seem to be going badly. The Rebels have plan killing Holly. This does not set will with Axl but his Prez says he has to stay out of it. Will Alx be able to stand by and let an innocent be killed?
